Färjestad - HV71 3-5 (series: 2-2)

The second straight win for HV71 and the series is now tied after a very entertaining game. "A fantastic game, I would like to have watched this game on TV", David Petrasek said to HV71 after the game. Färjestad started the game well and have a powerful momentum but it was HV71 that took the lead when Jesper Fasth scored in tight situation in front of Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel, PW replaced Christopher Nihlstrop that missed the game due to injury.

Rickard Wallin tied the game at the begining of the third but despite many chances Färjestad failed to take the lead. Four minutes into the third period the game exploded. First Mattias Karlsson gave HV71 the lead but just 1:05 later Färjestad had turned things around after goals by Hannes Hyvönen and Kristofer Berglund. But it only to three minutes before Jesper Fasth tied the game with his second goal of the game.

After 11 minutes HV71 decided the game with two goals in 49 seconds, at first David Petrasek made it 3-4 with a shot from the blueline on the power play. The 5-3 goal was scored by Jason Krog after some succesful fore checking. Färjestad pulled the goalie with over three minutes left to play but no more goals were scored.

Frölunda - Brynäs 0-5 (series: 1-3)

After three close games with the home team going winning out of them all. But today it was a completly different story and Brynäs blanked Frölunda and won an impressive 5-0 victory.

Niklas Svedberg made 32 saves for the shutout but the big man of the match was Jakob Silfverberg who perhaps is the best player of the league right now. Silfverberg scored the 2-0 goal and added assists on both 3-0 and 4-0 when Brynäs made a brilliant second period.

In the thrid period Sebastian Wännström made it 5-0 to make Frölunda's misery even bigger. Brynäs now has three game to take their fourth game.
