End of Round Robin in Derhadun

UEA and Malaysia won respective groups with perfect record. Today start second phase

Thailand - Kuwait 8-2 (2-1,4-0,2-1)
Despite a good performance by its goalie Jasem Al Saffarf - 35 saves - Kuwait has no chance against Thailand. Thai decide the game in the second period with a 4-0 break. Tewin Chartsuwan was the main character with 2 goals and 3 assists. Both team advance but Thailand is qualified directly to semifinals where probably will face again Kuwait. Arab will play as favourite the qualification play-off against weak India.

United Arab Emirates - Taiwan 14-0 (2-0,6-0,6-0)
UAE close round robin with perfect record and now waiting for Malaysia in a thrilling semifinal. In last game Arab team shows no mercy for last-placed Taipei: Khaled Al Suwaidi stopped just 9 shots while his teammates scored 14 times, with captain Juma Al Dhaheri - 3 goals and 2 assists - awarded as MVP. Good performance also by defender Mohamed Al Zaabi, 2 goals and 2 assists. Despite an awful tournament - two goals scored and 40 suffered in 3 games - Taipei has another chance to redeem itself, according to the questionable tournament formula, they will face Malaysia - winner of Group B - in Qualification play-off

Malaysia - Macau 5-2 (2-1,2-0,1-1)
Already qualified, Malaysia gives a favour to India eliminating Macau and delivers Qualification Play off for India. Top scorer Kin Ban Loke scored "only" two goals and the team plays slow rate to preserve energies to Qualification play-off against Taipei and possibly the tough semifinal against UAE. Macau is the only team already eliminated
