Texas Brahmas honours Minard

21 Nov 2010 | Davide Tuniz

Former Texas Brahmas former Craig Minard will be honored on Saturday, November 27 at the NYTEX Sports Centre as the organization will have a special pregame ceremony for the former captain that will have his number #27 retired.

Minard played 10 professional years of hockey, including three with Texas (2007-2010) and one in Hull Stingrays in UK. In three seasons with the Brahmas, Minard became the backbone of the blueline and heart of the team, accumulating 70 points (7 G, 63 A) in 159 regular season games. The Orangeville, ONT native's defensive soundness helped aid the Brahmas to a 12-4 record in the 2009 playoffs and the franchise's first Championship title.
