The Czech Republic dominated most of the game but just as yesterday against Sweden it was Finland who won the game after shootout. The Czechs bounced back after the poor game yesterday but didn't manage to win the game as Pekka Rinna made a stellar performance in the Finnish net.

However it was Finland who started best and also took the lead when Michael Keränen fooled Michal Jordan and found the net behind Alexander Salak. After the first the Czechs took over the game and also tied the game in the second when Martin Ruzicka scored. Ruzicka finished off a counter attack after a nice cross pass by Jakub Klepis.

But the Czechs failed to convert anything else of their momentum and instead goals by Jarkko Immonen and Keränen gave two points two Finland in the shootout.
