EHC Visp beat HC Davos in 2nd round of Cup and advance to quarterfinals.

In an intense game in Visp, the home team lead 3:0 against the high flying leader of the NLA, HC Davos before it got exciting and the guest scored 2 goals in the third period but Visp was able to stay cool and score the 4th goal with less than 2 minutes left.

In the other games, SC Rapperwil-Jona beat SC Langenthal 7-0 and left the NLB team no chance. In the duell of the NLB teams, the Tigers of Langnau beat EHC Olten in a tight game 3-2.

The romand-derby between Genève and Lausanne was decided by a lone goal from Tom Pyatt in the 54th minute who will take a spot in the round of the 8 best teams. The Flyers took an early lead against EHC Biel but newly signed Jarkko Ruutu scored the equalizing goal in the 27th minute but Kloten would score the game winning goal in the 56th minute by Matthias Bieber.

Fribourg is still having a hard time getting out of their slump. Ambri-Piotta was too strong for the home team who were to keep the game scoreless for the first period but received 2 goals in the 2nd and weren't able to turn the game around after.

The ZSC Lions played their home game in Winterthur as the Hallenstadion was booked for different events yesterday. But it didn't keep the Team of Marc Crawford from sending EV Zug home with 4-1 loss. Reto Schäppi with two goals and oldie Matthias Seger with 2 assists were the game winners for the Lions.
