The general assembly didn't find a solution for club problems
MMKS Podhale Nowy Targ had a new president - Robert Zmarlik. During the high-temprature Podhale' s general assembly of club members were many emotions but mainly negative
Firstly president Mirosław Mrugała read the report of the club's situation. There were many words about financial and organizational issues, which he didn't expected when he took care of Podhale. He said, he tried to find a main sponsor, but no-one want to give money for hockey, except of City authorities of Nowy Targ, and he said thanks to Major of Nowy Targ for his help. The board of the club was criticized very strong in last few months, so Mrugała also encouraged critics to take to participate in elections and working for club. Finally, he complained he got team, which lost best players after 2010 Polish Championship.
When Club members asked about liabilities of Podhale, after long discussion, Mrugała said it's nearly 550-600 thousends PLN (~150 000 Euro), but to be honest no-one know how big the financial liabilities really are.
However, despite of many ambiguities in financial report, it was accepted along with new budget with 35 votes for of 61 members, which were present on general assembly.
Next point was election of new club authorities. There was proposal to wait with election until will be known new President of PZHL, but it didn't have enough support. The biggest vote against this solution was introduction to the club superintendent by County authorities, which are the controlling body for organizations MMKS Podhale.
Before it there was many argues about who is guilty, which are not worth to citation. Finally there was found a solution - old board represented by Mirosław Mrugała and Grzegorz Pustułka will stay, but with three new members, and it will work until PZHL election.
The temporary board has 5 persons: Agata Michalska, Mirosław Mrugała, Grzegorz Pustułka, Janusz Kmiecik and
Robert Zmarlik as a head of the board.
