Belarus beat Switzerland 4-3 to win the Arosa Challenge in Herisau. Andrei Mikhalev scored the tournament winning goal in the last minute of the second period. Slovakia finished third after a 5-3 win against Denmark.

 
 
 
 
Evgeny Kovyrshin opened the scoring of the final after 7 minutes. Then the teams took turns to score. 1-1 Bärtschi, 1-2 Denisov, 2-2 Vongunten, 2-3 Stefanovich and 3-3 Stancescu before Andrei Mikhalev scored 3-4 at 39:38. the third period was scoreless and
Head Coach Eduard Zankovets could see his Belarus win the tournament.

Slovakia won the bronze medals thanks to a 5-3 win over Denmark. Marek Bartanus scored twice and Juraj Mikus, Adam Lapsansky and Milan Macho got a goal each. Stefan Lassen, Morten Madsen and Morten Green scored for Denmark.

In the first semi final Belarus beat Slovakia 1-0 in overtime. Aleksandr Kulakov scored the game-winning goal at 60:51. Vitali Koval made 29 saves for Belarus while Slovakia's goalie Julius Hudacek saved 32 shots.

In the other semi final Thibaut Monnet scored twice when Switzerland defeated Denmark 3-0. Hnat Dominichelli also scored for Switzerland. Reto Berra earned the shut-out thanks to 20 saves.
