-"I've been playing hockey since I was six years old and it has been my life. Ever since I've been away from hockey, I 've felt that I missed the sport very much. I know Jocke and Thomas since earlier and they are two good choices as Sporting Directors. I've had Säcken as a coach and he's a stubborn man from the north, but with he's both feet on the ground. It's going to be inspiring and fun and I'm hoping that we will be playing a fast and successful hockey, that will give us a lot of points. I feel that Djurgården have something exciting going on, so it will be great," Mikael said to difhockey.se
And Sporting Director Joakim Eriksson is thrilled to have Mikael on board: -"Me and Thomas Johansson have played with Mikael and we know him real well. Besides, he is a very positive person with a high social competence and he's giving a lot of energy. He's working well with a lot of different kind of people and I hope and believe that he will add these pieces in to his leadership."
