Recently the redaction "Interfax"
presented a book "Ice hockey of Vitaly Davydov". In this book we can read
a lot information about one of the best ice hockey defenseman of the World
- 3 times Olympic champion, 9 times World Champion, 7 times silver
medalist in the Soviet Union Championship, 5 times bronze medalist of the Soviet
Union Championship, winner of USSR Cup 1972 etc. He was also named best defenseman
of the 1967 IIHF World Championship.
The book was written by journalist Mikhail Shcheglov. It includes a biography of Vitaly Davydov and his career for Dynamo Moscow and for "The Red machine" and several stories about ice hockey of the Soviet Union.
"I think a lot of players with whom I had the opportunity to defend the honor of our country at the Olympics and the World Championships deserve a book like this." said Vitaly Davydov.
"I realized that this book would be a lucky chance to write about the team", says Vitaly Semenovich who gave all of his life to Moscow "Dynamo". Next year Dynamo will be 70 years, but until now not a single book about the club has been released. And how can modern fans experience the team if they do not know the history?..." said the author of the book, Mikhail Shcheglov.
In the future the society of Dynamo wants to continue with publication of books about the best players of Dynamo Moscow and the team of Soviet Union.
It sounds like good idea.
We shall wait.
