Arne Krotak reaches 1000 games in Slovak Extraliga

The 39 year old Slovak reached a magical milestone when he played his 1000th game in Extraliga on December 30.

When HK SKP Poprad played against Banska Bystrica on December 30 Arne Krotak became historic when he reached the magical milestone of 1000 games in the Slovak Extraliga (including both regular season and post season games). Playing his 19th season in the Extraliga Arne Krotak has now played 883 regular season games and 117 post seasons game.

15 of the 19 seasons Krotak has played with Poprad and he also played four seasons with Kosice. In the 1000 games Krotak has scored 438 goals and 501 assists. In addition to the 1000 games in the Slovakian league this he has also played just over 100 games in the Czechoslovakian league and a few games in the Czech Extraliga.
