League winners:
Patrick Thoresen returns to Djurgården
Patrick Thoresen, the 40-year-old Norwegian forward and recent national champion with Storhamar, has signed with Djurgården of HockeyAllsvenskan.
Thoresen, who will turn 41 in November, previously played for Djurgården from 2003-2006 and in the 2015-2016 season. Known for his leadership and performance, he made 48 points in 49 games during his last stint in the SHL and recently impressed at the World Championship.
This move follows Djurgården's earlier acquisition of another veteran, Dick Axelsson.

Linköping HC vs Skellefteå AIK 6-0, Västerås VIK vs Djurgårdens IF 1-0, IK Pantern vs Malmö Redhawks 0-4. Notable is that Skellefteå AIK lost their second straight game yesterday.

Linköping HC will stand up against Skellefteå AIK, Västerås VIK will take on Djurgårdens IF and IK Pantern will face Malmö Redhawks

Djurgårdens IF won their first game of the preseason, as they defeated Almtuna IS 1-7. Luleå HF won their second game in preseason as they defeated MODO Hockey 4-2. Both Luleå and Djurgården showed some strength for upcoming season.

The 28-year old Canadian defenseman choose to leave Djurgårdens IF after only 12 games, where he recorded 6 points. Gysbergs new club adress will Medvescak Zagreb in KHL.
(26 Jul 2015)Zabel head coach in Djurgården again
Just as last season Djurgården signs Tony Zabel as a replacement head coach during the season. He replaces Challe Berglund who steps down after a very bad start to the season for Djurgården who was expected to battle for promotion back to Elitserien but currently only is in 10th place in Allsvenskan. Berglund will remain at the club as manager.
