At the end of the 2009/10 season, in which the team won the 19th Polish Championship title, the Wojas Podhale Nowy Targ team was withdrawn from the Polish Hockey League.
The Management of Sportowa Spółka Akcyjna Wojas Podhale announced that on May 6, 2010, it decided to suspend sport activities until further notice, as a consequence of which the team in the Polish Hockey League and the Polish Cup in the 2010/2011 season was not present. Next, the sports company transferred all rights to participate in the PLH competition for the Municipal Youth Sports Club Podhale (MMKS)
