Nedvěd steps down

Petr Nedvěd has stepped down as the general manager of the Czech national hockey team as of August 31, 2024, due to personal reasons. If circumstances change, the possibility of resuming the collaboration remains. The leadership of Czech Hockey is currently deciding who will take over his responsibilities. Nedvěd served as the general manager of the Czech national team since the 2018/19 season, with a break during the 2022/23 season. He returned for the 2023/24 season, during which the team won the World Championship title at the home tournament in Prague and also secured a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championship in Finland.
