Affiliated with the Walpole Express Junior A powerhouse, the Reds began operations in 2010-11 MJHL season.
In addition to the Junior B program, the Reds offer half-season Midget 18U and 16U teams that play in the New England Midget Development League.
The Reds name is no stranger to Rhode Island. The original Providence Reds, later renamed Rhode Island Reds, played in the Canadian American Hockey League from 1926-1936 before joining the American Hockey League (AHL) from 1936-1976. Four-time Calder Cup Champions, the original Reds franchise was relocated in 1977 and still exists today as the Hartford Wolfpack in the AHL
