Goals and assists
The Clan made it six wins form their last seven by beating Scottish rivals Fife by the odd goal in three.
The 3,000-strong crowd in Glasgow had to wait until well over half of the game to see the first goal – Brendan Connolly eventually opening the scoring as he pounced on a rebound to Matt Stanisz’s blueline shot. Fife were level just over three minutes later, Brett Bulmer found Paul Crowder at the top of the crease to poke home from close range at 34:46. Another Stanisz slapshot was to undo the Flyers shortly before the period was over – this time Matt Beca tipped in front to put the Clan back ahead at 39:32.
That was where the goals ended. The Clan go four points clear of the Flyers and are now just as many points behind the Panthers in third with five games in hand.
