Goals and assists
After losing in the last minute last night in Fife, MK Lightning responded with a battling win in Dundee which saw them take the extra point in overtime.
Fabrizio Ricci opened the scoring for the home side just 7:38 into the game, but the visitors were level through nelson Armstrong a little under 30 seconds later. Robbie Baillargeon then had the Lightning ahead at 16:30 to give them the advantage after 20 minutes.
The Stars needed only 3:15 in the middle period to draw level through Mike Sullivan, but Baillargeon was on target just over a minute later to put MK back ahead. Early in the third Francois Bouchard draw the Stars level again, but with 62:49 on the board at the Dundee Ice Arena Milton Keynes took the bonus point in overtime thanks to player-coach Tim Wallace’s goal. The point keeps Dundee in the playoff places, now with a three point cushion but on more games played; while MK remain last but move to only five points behind Manchester.
