Goals and assists
A penalty shot in overtime gave the Storm the extra point against Nottingham at the Storm Shelter.
Manchester ‘s Ciaran Long gave him side the lead at 9:26 which they held into the break, before Brett Perlini tied the game at 34:05. 77 seconds later Felix-Antoine Poulin put the Storm back ahead though to ensure they were leading after 40 minutes.
The Panthers draw level again through Justin Kovacs with 7:25 of the third period played, while 90 seconds after Perlini stuck again to give the Nottingham the lead on the powerplay. Despite trailing for the first time in the game, the Storm rallied to stage a comeback of their own, Linden Springer tying the game with just over five minutes to go. In overtime the Panthers had the better of the pressure and chances, but when Dane Byers was hauled down on the breakaway the Storm had a penalty shot to try and win it. Byers took it, scored, and earned his team the two-point win.
