Down two goals inside the first five minutes it was always going to be an uphill struggle for Milton Keynes in Glasgow, after Matt Beca and Craig Peacock put the Clan a pair up at 2:13 and 3:39 respectively.

Tim Wallace pulled one back for the visitors 65 seconds into the middle period, but by 5:54 the Clan were back two ahead thanks to Matt Haywood. The Brit added another with 34:32 gone, before Georgs Golovkovs pulled it back to 4-2 at 36:03, however Rasmus Bjerrum had the hosts up by three before the break.

Beca completely his hat-trick with two goals at the beginning of the final period, while Bjerrum added another before Golovkovs pulled it back to 8-3 shortly before the buzzer.
