Goals and assists
Fife’s first road win since 19 January helped them move out to a four point lead over the sides chasing the playoff places.
It was a seesaw game in which both sides scored two goals at the same end through the opening two periods. Fife ended the first up by a pair – Brett Bulmer after 78 seconds giving them the lead, with Carlo Finucci doubling it at 17:30. The Blaze were level however before the halfway point of the game – Thom Flodqvist got them going with the home side’s opening goal at 25:21, before Dillon Lawrence tied the game up at 9:24.
The only goal of the final period proved to be the game’s winner – it came at 53:16, Evan Bloodoff converting on the powerplay as Ben Lake sat a holding minor.
