Goals and assists
Glasgow ended their run of seven straight losses with a win over rivals Fife, and with it took fourth place seeding for this season’s playoffs.
Jack Musil got the visitors off to a good start, putting them ahead inside two minutes – a lead that the Clan held through to the end of the opening period.
With 3:42 left in the middle period, Tyson Wilson struck to put the Clan two ahead – and it was to get better just shy of two minutes later when Guillaume Doucet made it three; both goals coming after Flyers’ Brett Bulmer was given a major penalty for kneeing. Fife did however get themselves on the board before the period was out, Jordan Buesa scoring with 46 seconds left to make it 1-3/after 40 minutes.
Any hopes of a Flyers comeback were dashed when Fasmus Bjerrum scored 33 seconds into the final period, and although Evan Bloodoff did pull the score back to 4-2 at 44:17 that was where the goals ended.
