Guildford Flames moved top of Challenge Cup Group B thanks to an overtime win in Coventry. Despite losing, by picking up the extra point the Blaze are still in the mix for qualifying from the group automatically.

Brett Ferguson gave Guildford the lead at the halfway mark of the game, only for Janne Laakkonen to tie things at 32:17. Luke Ferrara then finished a nice Blaze move by scoring at 38:56 to keep Danny Stewart's men ahead after two periods.
