Game recap

A great opening weekend for Omar Pacha and his Dundee Stars team was completed with a 7-2 win over local rivals Glasgow Clan.

The Stars were three ahead inside ten minutes thanks to goals from Anthony Beauregard, Elgin Pearce and Duncan Speirs. Scott Pit got the Clan on the board in the last of the opening period's scoring, but things didn't get any better for Glasgow in the middle session.

Reilly O'Connor, Kevin Dufour and Pearce all struck to move the Stars further ahead, with Nolan LaPorte netting 39 seconds from the end of the period to make it 6-2. Beauregard scored the final goal of the game just shy of the 50 minute mark to cap a remarkable opening weekend for the Stars in which they scored 13 goals in two wins.
