Goals and assists
A double from Mark Matheson helped Nottingham Panthers to a 5-1 midweek win over Manchester Storm to climb up to fifth in the table.
After a generally even opening period, the Panthers led late on through Brett Perlini. 2:52 into the middle frame Gui Lepine doubled the lead, and when Matheson struck at 34:38 the hosts were in a comfortable position.
13 seconds into period three Ryan Horvat secured a goal on his debut with a close-range finish to make it 4-0, but Manchester were on the board some four minutes later through Tyson Fawcett on the powerplay. Matheson completed the night's scoring at 53:12, following up from Horvat's initial attempt.
