Goals and assists
A two-goal win keeps Belfast Giants still within touching distance of the top two.
Neither the Fife nor the Giants managed to find a way to open the game in period one, but Elgin Pearce got his first goal for Belfast at 28:03 to give his new side the lead.
Jordan Smotherman and Bobby Farnham scored within the opening five and a half minutes of the third to make things comfortable for the Giants, but Danick Gauthier struck at 49:47 to bring the Flyers back into things.
That was to be, however, as good as it got for the hosts who were unable to find any further ways past Shane Owen.
