Goals and assists
Cardiff Devils stayed right behind Sheffield at the top fo the league thanks to a shootout win in Guildford.
The Devils led after a period in Surrey through to a well-worked powerplay goal finished off by Stephen Dixon 33 seconds from the end of the period.
It was a lead that the Devils held until late in the game. After a spell of Flames pressure Kruise Reddick tipped Jordan Rowley’s shot in front of Ben Bowns to level things at 49:15.
No furthers goals came despite a late Devils' powerplay and the game went into overtime - however with no games there it went the distance to a shootout. None of Guildford shooters could find a way past Ben Bowns, but
Joey Haddad and Brent Pope scored for the Devils saw them leave with the bonus point.
