Goals and assists
Three goals from new signings proved the difference as Dundee Stars won the Boxing Day Christmas Derby against Fife - cutting the gap to the Flyers back down to seven points.
Alexander Schoenborn tipped Shawn Boutin's shot past Adam Morrison at 10:23 to give the Stars the lead, although Carlo Finucci cancelled that out at 15:30. The game stayed tied until 19 seconds before the end of the middle period - Matt Carter this time scoring from close range after having several bites at a loose puck.
Fife levelled again when Jonas Emmerdahl's blueline shot went through Alex Leclerc at 43:46, but 23 seconds later Schoenborn had the Stars back ahead. Drydn Dow extended the advantage to two at 52:32, before Anthony Beauregard found the empty net with 51 seconds left to seal the win.
