A fourth game in five days proved a step too far for Manchester storm to continue their impressive run of form as they were shutout at home by Nottingham.
With the scores tied through the first 20 minutes, it was Jason DeSantis who gave the Panthers the lead. In the final period, Sam Herr took over for the Panthers as he is making a habit of doing - scoring their second at 46:13 before completing the win on a breakaway with 4:08 to go as Manchester pushed for a way back into the game.
The Panthers won't be in Elite League action next weekend due to their appearance in the IIHF Continental Cup Final.
