Goals and assists
Cardiff Devils survived throwing away a two-goal lead to take a valuable win away from Kirkcaldy against Fife Flyers.
Charles Linglet opened the game's scoring only 80 seconds in, and then Matt Pope crashed a slapshot in from the point at 9:22 the Devils looked to be heading for a comfortable win.
However second periods haven't been great for the Welsh side of late and they suddenly found themselves in a tied game. Carlo Finucci wrote his name into Flyers' folklore with a goal at 21:28 that makes him the organisation's highest-scoring player in their history. Just over three and a half minutes later, Mike Cazzola cleverly lifted the puck over a diving defenseman to tie the game up.
All square heading into period three it was the Devils who re-gained control of the game at 43:56 with a Joey Haddad slapshot. Gleason Fournier did it all himself to beat Adam Morrison at 55:24 and give the Devils some breathing room, before Mike McNamee scored on a breakaway with 77 seconds remaining to seal the win.
