Goals and assists
Belfast Giants' hopes of defending their league title were boosted by picking up four points this weekend - including Sunday night's 5-2 win in Guildford.
A Curtis Hamilton opening goal with only 2:07 on the clock put the Giants ahead, but Jamie Crooks pegged them back on a 5-on-3 as he fired past Shane Owen. David Goodwin gave the Giants the lead back at 9:28, but again the Flames fought their way back into the game - just before the halfway point Braylon Shmyr got the final touch after a good feed from John Dunbar.
Bobby Farnham's breakaway goal put the Giants in the lead again as the Giants led after two periods. It was a lead that they wouldn't give up again and a Ciaran Long goal at 42:32 put them 4-2 up - the Giants' forward visibly relieved to finally find the back of the net! Kevin Raine's shot into the empty net from halfway with 57 seconds left sealed the win.
