Goals and assists
Fife Flyers' difficult season continued with a home defeat to Coventry that now leaves them eight points short of the playoff places and seven adrift at the foot of the table with only 16 games left to play.
The Blaze made the perfect start in Kirkcaldy with goals from Charles Corcoran and Luke Ferrara in just over seven minutes, although Paul Crowder did pull the Flyers back into things at 13:26.
Ferrara struck again, this time on the powerplay at 22:40, to put the Blaze back two up, but again they were pulled back - this time by Mike Cazzola. Dillon Eichstadt found the back of Adam Morrison's net some four minutes later however to restore the Blaze's two-goal advantage.
Coventry made sure of the points 29 seconds from the final buzzer through Justin Haché to keep them in the top five.
