Goals and assists
Coventry Blaze snatched a last-minute winner to move up to third in the Elite League, and leave Dundee with just a point to show for their two games this weekend.
Shawn Boutin's shot from distance put the Stars ahead 6:15 into the game at the Skydome, but by the end of the period the Blaze had taken the lead. Goals 50 seconds apart on odd-man rushes from Charles Corcoran and Dillon Eichstadt gave the Blaze a one-goal advantage after the first period.
A scoreless middle session saw the teams go into the third still in a one-goal game, and Dundee tied things up 77 seconds in through Matt Carter. The game looked to be heading to overtime with both sides deserving a point, however Dundee were undone by the league's leading scorer Luke Ferrara just six seconds from the end to give the Blaze the win in regulation.
