Goals and assists
A 36-shot shutout on Rok Stojanovič helped Sheffield Steelers stay just two points off the top of the Premier Sports Elite League table.
The Slovenian backstopped his side to a 3-0 road win in Manchester that kept Sheffield's league title hopes in a good place, while keeping Storm four points off a playoff place but now with only six games left to play.
Tanner Eberle's first-period goal ultimately proved to be the game-winner. Medric Mercier was caught on the attacking blueline by Eberle who skated the length of the ice to beat Jason Bacashihua for the 1-0 lead at 16:28.
After a goalless middle session, Robert Dowd doubled the visitors' lead 8:24 into period three when he finished nicely on a 2-on-1 attacker fed through by Vojta Polák.
The Czech then found the empty net with 1:42 remaining to round off a solid win for the Steelers.
