Guildford Flames completed a four-point weekend thanks to an overtime win over Nottingham Panthers.
In a wild opening period, Massimo Carozza twice put the Panthers ahead at 14:46 and 16:50 respectively, with Ian McNulty briefly levelling the game for the home side at 15:22. The latter two goals were both the subject of video reviews.
Jordan Cownie tied the game again 5:23 into period two, but the Flames were behind less than four minutes later through Kevin Domingue for the visitors at 29:12. Jake Bolton's powerplay goal made it 3-3 with 33:22 played.
Robbie Baillargeon put the Panthers ahead for a fourth time with just under 13 minutes to play, but that was cancelled out by Ian Watters' equaliser at 52:18. In the bonus period, Levi Cable smashed home a shot off a rebound in the slot to give the Flames the extra point win at 62:53.
