Goals and assists
Sheffield Steelers left Dundee with a big win for the second time this season thanks to a five-goal, shutout victory over the Stars on Sunday night.
Daniel Campini forced a turnover in the Stars' end which allowed Kevin Schulze to find Scott Allen for the Steelers' opening goal alone in front of Ato Svensson's net at 4:04.
While that was the only thing separating the teams after 20 minutes, the Steelers took over in period two. Tomáš Pitule tipped Matt Petgrave's point shot 1:23 into the second to double the visitors' advantage, while fellow Czech Martin Látal picked up a rebound in front of Svensson to make it three at 27:37.
Brandon McNally finished off a counter-attacking move after the Stars gave up the puck on the offensive blueline to make it 4-0 at 31:26.
Látal scored the game's final goal 2:25 into period three as the Steelers rarely looked troubled.
The defeat capped a bad weekend for the Stars, conceding 12 in two home games, while scoring just one.
