Dundee Stars scored three powerplay goals in just over two minutes to beat Nottingham Panthers 4-2 on Friday night at the Dundee Ice Arena.
David Levin picked up a rebound from Jeremy Welsh's shot and slotted high past Anton Svensson at 11:53 to put the Panthers ahead, but they were pegged back by the first of Elijah Barriga's goals of the evening at 14:03 after the Panthers failed to clear their zone.
Welsh put the visitors back in the lead 2:30 into period two, and that's how things stayed until the third.
Elijah Barriga tipped Ian Parker's shot past Alex Dubeau at 47:38 while Duggie Lagrone sat a double minor, and just under two minutes later he completed his hat trick with a tap-in from the slot. Dubeau felt he was interfered with on the play leading up to the goal and protested - so much so that he was ejected from the game for Abuse of an Official.
Philippe Sanche fired home at 49:56 to put the home side 4-2 ahead.
