Goals and assists
Dundee Stars won their third game on the bounce, and third consecutive game at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, with a 2-1 win over the Steelers - denying their hosts the chance to go clear at the top of the Premier Sports Elite League table.
After a scoreless opening period, the Stars took the lead 2:06 into period two when the Steelers failed to clear their lines, and Toms Rutkis played the puck into the slot to Fabrizio Ricci to fire through Matt Greenfield.
Martin Látal tied the game when Danny Kristo's shot slipped through Anton Svensson, and the Czech forward was on hand to bat the loose puck into the net at 24:48.
Carter Folk's goal at 44:52 was the one that would eventually win it for the stars, although they were indebted to netminder Anton Svensson who made 39 saves on the night to help Dundee to victory.
