Goals and assists
Dundee Stars ended 2022 with an overtime win against Scottish rivals Glasgow Clan.
Clan took the lead at a sold-out Braehead Arena with 12:17 played in the first period - Gary Haden controlling the puck with his skate and then firing past Anton Svensson for the game's opening goal.
Svensson was on excellent form to keep the score at 1-0, and his team played their part by levelling at 33:57 thanks to Ben Sokay's finish on a quick counter-attack - his third goal in three games.
`Steven McParland hit the crossbar with 13:30 left as Clan pushed forward for a winner in what was an end-to-end period that lacked quality scoring chances.
Romans looked to have given Dundee the points when he got the final touch on a loose puck around John Muse with 3:28 to go, but Haden responded for Clan with 66 seconds remaining to force overtime.
Dundee took the extra point when Sokay fed Semjonovs and then poked in the rebound himself 93 seconds into OT.
