Goals and assists
Coventry Blaze logged their second 7-1 win of the weekend, beating Fife Flyers in Kirkcaldy on Sunday night.
"I
thought it was a good team win. I thought we did a good job I coming
into Fife ready to play, and we were ready to go straight from the
start," said Chase Gresock, who scored a hat trick for the Blaze.
"I have to give a lot of credit to my teammates, they found me in good spots and made excellent plays to set me up tonight."
The
Flyers, who conceded six in Nottingham 24 hours earlier, found
themselves behind to Chase Gresock's goal just 54 seconds in. Gresock
and Kuqali both netted before the end of the period to put the visitors
up by three after 20 minutes.
Gresock then made it a hat trick 48
seconds into period two, and despite Michael Cichy getting the Flyers on
the board three minutes later, Nick Seitz re-established the four-goal
advantaged at 33:52.
Brandon Alderson scored 50 seconds into period three, followed by Grayson Constable at 46:59, to round off the big win.
"It
was a good bounce-back for us from last weekend and Wednesday night, so
I’m very proud of this team for how we responded this weekend," added
Gresock.
