Odense Bulldogs secured a 5-1 win over Rungsted Seier Capital in their Metal Ligaen clash. The game, attended by 1,227 fans, saw Odense take control in the second period and never look back.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring at 21:09 when Filips Buncis found the back of the net, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Jonathan Brinkman Andersen added to the lead at 23:54, and Radim Piroutek made it 3-0 at 25:38. The early dominance forced Rungsted to make a goaltending change, bringing in David Grubak for Oskar Östlund.
Odense continued to pressure, with Buncis scoring his second goal of the game at 30:39, assisted by Joakim Thelin and Jeppe Jul Korsgaard, putting the Bulldogs up 4-0. Blake Bennett got on the scoresheet for Odense at 38:23, with assists from Kristian Jensen and Brandon Estes, extending the lead to 5-0.
Rungsted managed to score a consolation goal at 58:12, as Andreas Schou Nielsson netted a late goal, assisted by Gustav Green and Valdemar Hull, to avoid the shutout.
