Ritten Sport used a sparkling performance by Chris Mason to take down the HC Valpellice, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Ritten 5-0 shutout victory.

Ritten Sport penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four HC Valpellice power plays.

Ritten Sport was helped by Patrick Rissmiller, who tallied one goal and two assists. Rissmiller scored 7:23 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Ritten Sport. Travis Ramsey provided the assist. Ritten Sport also got points from Eric Johansson, who also had one goal and one assist, Matt Siddall, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Levi Nelson, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Luca Ansoldi also scored for Ritten Sport. Other players who recorded assists for Ritten Sport were Thomas Spinell, who had one and Daniel Tudin, who had two.
