Stanislav Gron netted a hat trick to lead SG Cortina over SHC Fassa, 5-2.
Gron notched his first tally 13:12 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:12 into the second and at 13:41 into the second.
SG Cortina also got points from Ryan Dingle, who also tallied two goals and one assist. More assists for SG Cortina came via Jakub Grof, who had two, Giorgio De Bettin, who had three, and Kevin Doell, Paul Albers, and Luca Zanatta, who each chipped in one.
SHC Fassa was helped by Enrico Chelodi, who registered one goal. Chelodi scored 10:42 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Federico Gilmozzi provided the assist. SHC Fassa also got a goal from Jakub Sindel as well. In addition, SHC Fassa received assists from Diego Iori, Johan Burlin, and Michal Jeslinek, who contributed one each.
Anthony Borelli rejected 23 shots on goal for SG Cortina. SG Cortina incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kai Tillanen recorded 35 saves for SHC Fassa . SHC Fassa incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
