Vladimír Jeřábek, a Most native, played the whole career, except 4 years spent in Italia, for Litvínov(TCH). He scored almost 300 of league goals from the position of right winger.
Immediately after his retiring(1997), he started with coaching. Together with Ondřej Weissman he was coaching "his" Litvínov for three years on the start of the career of a hockey-coach. Later he also led the Czech clubs Vsetín, Hradec Králové, Vrchalbí and Kometa Brno.
In March 2011 came a challenge for Jeřábek: Save the Extraliga for the last team of Czech Extraliga Mladá Boleslav in relegation round.
