Shutouts by all home goalies when AIK, Timrå and Linköping won today.
AIK - Färjestad 3-0Färjestad surprisingly sacked their coach Niklas Czarnecki this week. Previous ass. coach Leif Carlsson made his first game as head coach today but his team saw no positive effect when AIK won 3-0. Viktor Fasth once again showed he is one of the best goalies of the league and got his fifth shutout saving 26 shots. Richard Gynge is smoking hot and scored two goals today, now he has nine goals in the last nine games.
Timrå - Luleå 1-0 OTA close and somewhat boring game that saw no goals in regular time. Luleå was closest but Joakim Lundström did very well for his first shutout for the season. Mat Robinson scored the game winner with 43 seconds left of the overtime with a shot from the blueline. David Rautio initialy saved the shot but it bounced over him and over the goalline. A good start for Timrå's new head coach Tommy Andersson when Timrå finally won at home again after six consecutive losses.
Linköping - Djurgården 5-0After being in a crisis Linköping has now showed great form in the last two game following up on the 7-2 win against MoDo by beating Djurgården 5-0. Linköping dominated the game and now finally seems able to score goals. "There are potential goal scorers in this team. Now they have scored some goals and then the self confidence is better", coach Harald Lückner said after the game. Anderas Jämtin scored two goals today while Carl Söderberg had three assists.
