HC Lev beats Dinamo Minsk

In today's 9 KHL games Teemu Lassila, Vasily Koshechkin and Nikita Bespalov earned shutouts, CSKA won in Riga with help from young players.
Amur 2-3 TraktorTraktor increased their lead in the East by beating the most surprising team of the first half of the regular season Amur in Khabarovsk. Defenseman Alexander Ryazantsev opened the scoring at 05:54 in power-play, it was the 14th goal of the Traktor player this season. Amur tied the game in the next period with a Sergei Plotnikov goal but Stanislav Chistov returned his team the lead at 28:24. In the third Jakub Petruzalek tied the game again at 46:35. Yevgeny Kuznetsov with his 3rd point of the night gave Traktor a victory 5 minutes early. For the young player it was the 8th game winning goal this season and he continues to lead this statistics aspect.
Metallurg Nk 1-0 BarysTeemu Lassila stopped 38 shots and made the 4th shutout this season and led his team to a one-goal deciding win over Barys. In the first Sergei Brylin came into offensive zone and fired from the blue line; the puck went over Vitaly Yeremeyev’s shoulder and changed the score to 1-0. It was the first and the last goal of the night. The goalies stopped 69 shots this night.
Sibir 2-3 AvtomobilistAvtomobilist earned 7 of 9 points in the trip at Siberia beating Sibir 3-2 in the last game. Avtomobilist took a quick lead in the first 5 minutes of the first with two goals by Nikolai Bushuyev. The first time he scored a shorthanded goal and last in power-play. Only in the third Sibir beat the away team goalie Ivan Lisutin with Alexander Suglobov and Jonas Enlund goals but between them there was a goal by Alexei Krutov which became game-winning. Lisutin stopped 35 shots and made a great job to the whole deal this night.
Salavat Yulaev 4-2 SpartakSpartak ended its road series in Ufa where they havn’t won for a long time against the home team Salavat Yulaev. The game began well for guests. At 72 seconds Vadim Berdnikov used a pass from Roman Lyuduchin to open the scoring. Miroslav Blatak in power-play tied the game in the middle of the period; in the second again in power-play Igor Grigorenko gave home team a lead at 26:25. Playing 4-on-4 Spartak managed to tie the game with a Andre Benoit shot at 31:15 and after the two periods. In the third Spartak began with Berdnikov in the penalty box for holding and Vitaly Proshkin pulled Ufa ahead at 41:28. The game was closed when Pyotr Schastlivy scored a shorthanded goal with 6:13 remaining in the third.
Ak Bars 0-1 SeverstalThe game in Kazan was the same as in Novokuznetsk where the only goal happened in the first period. Pasi Puistola in 4-on-4 mode scored at 3:57 with assists from Alexei Tsvetkov and Stanislav Yegorshev. Both goalies stoned 28 shots but only Vasily Koshechkin earned a 5th shutout this season and reached the result of Christopher Holt from Riga and Karri Rämö from Avangard who also stopped all shots in 5 games.
Atlant 0-3 TorpedoAtlant couldn’t score in the second game in a row after being blanking by Torpedo 0-3. Early in the first Kim Hirschovits scored his first KHL goal after a getting a pass behind the net from Ilya Krikunov. In the second Vladimir Galuzin found himself alone in front of the net and extended Torpedo lead. At 37:32 Alexei Ugarov was first on the rebound after a shot from Juuso Hietanen and closed the game with a 3-0 score. Nikita Bespalov made the first shutout in his KHL career after playing only three games.
Neftekhimik 4-3 VityazNeftekhimik rally from a goal deficit in the last 5 minutes of play and made the 11th loss for Vityaz in a row. Oskar Osala with his 10th goal of the season opened the scoring at 09:03 using a pass from Yegor Milovzorov. Nikita Tochitsky and Yevgeny Timkin turned the game into Vityaz account after two periods. Early in the third Milovzorov tied the game but 5 minutes later Georgy Belousov pulled Vityaz again ahead at 45:17. In last 5 minutes of the third Neftekhimik saved the game with Maxim Pestushko and Yegor Milovzorov goals. Neftekhimik outshot Vityaz 35-19 but won the game only with 2:07 remaining in the third.
Dinamo Riga 1-2 CSKAYoung CSKA players who took part at WJC last month won the game for its main team in Riga. But the game didn’t begin so good for CSKA. At 08:22 Janis Sprukts pulled Riga ahead in power-play. Nikita Gusev scored his the second career goal in KHL and first this season at 25:10 to tie the game. Alexander Guskov assisted on this play. For Igor Ozhiganov it was only the 4th game for CSKA and he led his team to an important victory with a goal in power-play.
HC Lev 4-2 Dinamo MinskHC Lev won the third game in a row beating Dinamo Minsk at the home ice. Only one game action happened in the first Rastislav Spirko opened the scoring using Stepan Novotny assist at 12:17. But in the second teams scored 5 times: Lubos Bartecko, Jaroslav Kristek and Martin Habada for Slovak team and Teemu Laine, Sergei Drozd for Belarus team. In the third Minsk managed only to cut the HC Lev lead with Andrei Mikhalyov’s goal at 46:19. HC Lev goalie Jan Laco stopped 31 shots and led his team to a victory.
