White Wolves won fifth consecutive title in Bulgaria
Bulgarian League finished with the fifth consecutive title for Slavia Sofia, the 21th in club history. Team finishes first with a perfect record: eight games and eight victories in the three-teams
Bulgarian League, against CSKA Sofia, finished second, and Levski Sofia, last without a single point. In the last game Slavia defeated CSKA 10-2 (1-0, 5-1,4-1) in front of 300 spectators. The match was stopped for 35 minutes in the second period when CSKA
Dimitar Tsitselkov , in a normal game collision with an opponent, broke the rib. The player was removed from the ice by his teammates on a mattress until the short track off the field and had to wait for over 30 minutes until an ambulance came and drove him to the hospital. Juraj Dusicka to allow him to play for national team at the upcoming IHWC Division II, held in Sofia next April. Dusicka, 32, living in Bulgaria with a Bulgarian wife, played in Slovakia mainly for MšHK Prievidza in 2nd division. He was League top scorer and was awarded as Best Forward.
