AIHL penalises Sydney Ice Dogs
The AIHL has found the Ice Dogs guilty of breaches of the AIHL Code of Conduct.
The Australian Ice Hockey League has penalised the Sydney Ice Dogs, following a lengthy investigation into anti-social behaviour at the 2011 AIHL Finals weekend.
The AIHL has found the Ice Dogs guilty of breaches of the AIHL Code of Conduct, and has fined the Ice Dogs an undisclosed amount.
In addition, due to the serious nature of the charges, which included a decision of the AIHL Tribunal banning one of the Ice Dogs imports from the AIHL for life, the AIHL has imposed a restriction on the Ice Dogs limiting them to three imports for the 2012 season.
The AIHL wishes to thank the supporters, players and officials that assisted in the investigation, and to acknowledge the considerable measures taken by the Ice Dogs in the off-season to create positive outcomes for all parties.
