After beating Germany 8-1 in first game, the Swedish national team demolishes Switzerland 7-2.
The Vikings decided not to wait too long for creating their advantage. In first period they scored three times with help from Gustav Possler, Mattias Kalin and Filip Forsberg. Also they outshot Suisse 16-6 in the first period and 39-20 after 60 minutes. Possler made it 4-0 at the 2nd minute of the second with help from Alexander Wennberg. The Swiss team scored later in this period when Fabrice Herzog used a pass from Thomas Studer. The last period didn’t change the situation on the ice. Sandberg, Collberg and Possler with his third goal increased the Swedes lead and only Marco Muller could beat Oskar Dansk again. Sweden won the second game in the group and took the lead after the Russian loss to Team Germany.
Next game Sweden will play on Sunday against Latvia.
