Zug confirms the bad start

Fribourg and Geneva play a interesting game tonight. In the first period with both teams looking for goal teams were toe to toe with witch other. It will be Geneva to score the first goal(18:21) by Christopher Rivera. The second period Fribourg become with the idea to dominate the game. Outscore 23-4 in shoot Geneva had just no chance in the period. Fribourg translate that in goals. Three to be precise. Between 25:54 and 27:55. Swiss-Canadian Christian Dubé lead Fribourg with two assists for Simon Gamache and Greg Mauldin goal's. Mike Knoepfli did the third. At that time Geneva was not in the game and Canadian coach Chris McSorley was furious with his team. That seems to be the wake call. After that Geneva comeback in the game. At 37:56 Kevin Romy did the second for Geneva. But would be Cody Almond to give the victory in the third period with to goals. One of them at 59.09, when everyone was waiting for overtime. Mention to the Tobias Stephan 49 saves,

Zug confirms the bad start in the league. After a great European Trophy they had start the season in bad way. Even with Swiss NHL players Rafael Diaz and Damien Brunner on the ice nothing seems to work at Bossard Arena. Swiss defender Patrick Geering lead Zürich with two goals, well surround by the line Wick-Brulé-Shannon. 4-1 victory to a very solid Marc Crawford team.

After a 9-2 victory against Rapperswil last Saturday lead by Rick Nash and Joe Thornton everyone was waiting for the same treatment against Langnau. Czech goalie Jaroslav Hübl had another idea in mind. 46 saves. 2-2 in regular time. And finally would be Rick Nash to give Davos a win in shootout.

First game in Mark Streit career with his youth team, SC Bern. And did not go well. Bern outscores Rapperwill in shoots 41-11. But would be the visiting team win the game surprising everyone. Robbie Earl lead Rapperswil with a goal and assist.  And Swiss goalie David Aebischer is back to the games. Tonight 40 saves.

In Lugano-Kloten, the home team dominated the game. But they need the shootout for actually win it. Young Kloten goalie Lukas Meili confirms the good start this season with 32 saves. Seems to winning the starting job against the Swiss legend goalie Ronnie Rügger Glen Metropolit lead Lugano with a goal and assist.
