Linköping - AIK 3-2

The goals were scored by Pär Arlbrandt, Niklas Hävelid and Mattias Weinhandl. But Linköping didn't play well. At six minutes of the second period their coach Roger Melin had to call a time-out. With four minutes remaining of the period AIK got their first goal. Esa Pirnes scored and Jonas Liwing assisted. In the third period it took AIK only 26 seconds to score. Broc Little made it 3-2. But AIK couldn't beat Linköping's goalie Christian Engstrand a third time and Linköping won the game without impressing.

Rögle - MODO 2-3

Just like AIK Rögle has 9 points in 12 games. Tonight Rögle had a home game against the league leader MODO. MODO won the game 3-2 after three assists by Alexander Steen and a late game-winner by Marcel Müller. the game was scoreless until 36:48 whem Richie Regehr scored a power play goal for the visitors. Ladislav Nagy scored 0-2 in the third period and everyone besides the Rögle players thought that MODO had won the game. But at 46:12 Lasse Kukkonen scored 1-2 and with 7:49 remaining of the game Dennis Everberg tied it. Rögle needs points to climb in the standings but Marcel Müller's late 3-2 goal gives all 3 points to the guests from Örnsköldsvik.

Luleå - Växjö 4-1
Växjö Lakers have collected 10 points in 13 games. Today they lost the away game to Luleå in 10 unlucky seconds. The Abbott brothers combined for a 4-1 goal with three minutes remaining.

Färjestad - Timrå 3-1
Timrå almost faced relegation last season and will have to improve to avoid that situation again. Today's game against Färjestad was lost 3-1. Färjestad's Magnus Nygren scored 1-0 just 3 seconds before the end of period one. At 23 minutes Marcus Paulsson made it 2-0. Timrå's goal was scored by Max Friberg 30 seconds into the last period. Timrå pulled their goalie Daniel Bellissimo the final minute and Anders Bastiansen could make it 3-1 for Färjestad.
