First Petr Vampola scored for Växjö and then Robin Sterner for the home team Timrå. The second period was scoreless. In the third Dennis Rasmussen scored his first goal of the season to win the game for Växjö.

Rögle switched places with Timrå after and embarrassing loss to Skellefteå. After a first period with no goals Skellefteå won the second period 5-0 and outshot Rögle 25-1! George Holloway scored 3 goals and now leads the league in scoring three points ahead of Frölunda's Joel Lundqvist. Oscar Möller and Thomas Skogs also scored for Skellefteå in the middle period. In the third Joakim Lindström made it 6-0. Markus Svensson in Skellefteå's net made 20 saves to earn the shut-out.

Another goalie also managed to keep the doors closed this night. Linköping's Christian Engstrand made 24 saves when Frölunda was beaten 4-0. Pär Arlbrandt scored twice and Mattias Weinhandl and Johannes Salmonsson scored a goal each.
